In 1909 the Toumanian family moved to an apartment on the third floor of a three-story building at 18 Voznesenskaya Street, from their former Behbytyun Street apartment in Tiflis. It was the 10th and the last Tbilisi address in Toumanian's life. The apartment had seven rooms and a spacious balcony with a view of the Tiflis Botanical Garden.
Years later, in 1944 the architect Grigor Aghababyan had measured and sketched the apartment, according to that project a copy of the apartment was built in Yerevan as Hovhannes Toumanian Museum’s memorial part. The poet’s Tiflis apartment property, personal library and other materials moved thanks to the unfailing dedication of Toumanian’s family, especially the daughters’ and government support. In 1953 there was a chance to fully restore the entire decor of the poet's Tiflis apartment at Moskovyan 40, Yerevan.
