The program tells about the life and work of Hovhannes Toumanian (1869-1923). Born in the village of Dsegh in Lori, Toumanian appears in Tiflis at a young age and falls into the whirlpool of public, political and cultural life. The well-known poet was also an active public figure, for which he was arrested, prosecuted and justified. Social activity has often hindered the realization of Toumanian's inexhaustible creative potential. Living short enough, Hovh. Toumanian became a companion of the vital way of the Armenian people and one of the pillars of our literature with his multi-volume work, articles, and social-cultural activities.
